Carl Auböck Attributed Watering Can for Illums Bolighus, 1950s

A striking Mid-Century Modern watering can in copper and brass, design attributed to Carl Auböck and produced for Illums Bolighus, Copenhagen, Denmark, during the 1950s.

The sculptural form combines a warm, patinated copper body with a brass handle and elongated spout, exemplifying Auböck's distinctive approach to functional objects as works of modern design. The underside is stamped “Made in Denmark” and “Illums Bolighus.”

Condition: Good vintage condition with an attractive patina consistent with age and use. The copper body exhibits dents, but the can is functional.
